New Service!!

Veterinary HouseCalls
on the Upper West Side

Sometimes you just can't get to the vet

We know how hard it can be to get to the vet sometimes. If you live nearby, you still have to drag out the cat carrier and somehow convince your kitty that you're really going to the mouse farm and not the vet.

Or if you have a dog, we know that not all dogs love coming here to visit us. Some actually put the brakes on a block away. Some insist on being carried in. (Of course, lots and lots of dogs really do love to come to visit us.
It is pretty exciting and they do get a lot of attention). But carrying a 15 pound cat even a couple of blocks can be a hassle. And if you live furthur away than that, getting a taxi with a dog or a cat can be an ordeal.
Carrying this cat even two blocks can lead to extreme fatigue, heart papitations and profuse sweating

We want to make it easier for you.
We want to send the doctor to you!

The problem with most house call veterinarians is that they are limited by not having the use of the full facilities of a veterinary hospital. Sometimes you just need to to hospitalize pets, or do advanced diagnostic procedures, or treatments (think enemas) that are not possible working a normal housecall practice. By integrating a housecall practice with our AAHA accredited facilities, we can bring you best of both worlds. The convenience of a house call married to the services and care that only a full service AAHA hospital can provide.

We are starting this service November 8th, 2006. At first we'll be doing the housecalls one day a week, Wednesdays, and we will expand the service to other days as we grow. So the next time you need a visit, and just can't make it down to see us, call us and we'll come to you.

Please tell any friends you may have that have pets about this new service (or simply forward this email to them). We know that we're offering a unique and valuable service, not found anywhere else in NYC, but getting the word out is always difficult. Thanks a lot!

Sincerely,

Steven Kasanofsky, D.V.M., C.V.A.
